The island pace is slow so take your time and enjoy the scenery.

Garbage: Garbage should be deposited in the waste can provided with the villa. A garbage service collects it once a week. If your garbage starts to exceed the two large trash cans provided, please let the property management firm know. We recommend that you keep the garbage cans located in the laundry room. Do not leave cash, expensive jewelry, credit cards, cameras or video equipment In plain view within the villa or your rental car. You will see that many of natives walk along the road to their home throughout the day and night. This is their normal mode of transportation on the island. Even though it is common, do not pick up hitchhikers.

From Providenciales Airport Arrival Terminal

Remember to drive on the LEFT side of the road at all times. Keep these instructions and the Provo map with you until you feel confident you know your way around the island. Not all roads on the island have signs so be particularly sensitive to landmarks.
Leave the airport arrival area on Airport Road. Follow the road until you reach a T intersection with Leeward Highway. Turn right (west) on Leeward Highway then immediately take the first left turn (south) on South Dock Road. (The South Dock Road turn is opposite from the Caribwest Liquor store.)
Follow South Dock road for a number of miles. Travel almost to the very end and turn right (north) on Chalk Sound Drive. (If you pull into a large boat docking and customs clearance area, you have driven too far.)
Travel up Chalk Sound Drive until you see a road and a large Ocean Pont sign on the left side of the road. This is Ocean Point Drive and you should turn left (west) immediately. Calypso is the second villa on the left (south) side of the road. It has a large Calypso sign on the driveway entrance. There is an empty lot between the first house (Sapodilla) and Calypso. If you sea a sign for Villa Patricia you went too far. Calypso has a U shaped driveway so you can pull directly up to the front of the villa.
Calypso is approximately a 10-15 minute drive from to airport/downtown area. One last quick note... Leeward Highway is the main road on the island. A lot of businesses (groceries, liquor, banks, restaurants, etc.) on the island are located just off of Leeward. There is a wonderful grocery store in the downtown area in the Butterfield Mall that is close to the villa. Also, you will pass Caribwest liquor store just as you turn on South Dock Road. They have a wide selection of wines, beer, liquors and soft drinks.
A representative of the property management service will meet arriving guests at the airport and lead the way to the villa. Once at the house, they will do a brief orientation on the house and on the island in general.
